PubHive Ltd., a cloud-based software company, today announced the latest version of the Fetch module within the company’s all-in-one workflow management platform for scientific literature and safety information. Designed to meet the role-specific workflow needs of various teams working within medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology companies, Fetch version 2.0 features dozens of new and advanced features.
“The newest version of PubHive Navigator’s Fetch module injects several new and robust capabilities into the platform for power users who provide mission-critical literature curation services to stakeholders within their life science organization,” said Raj Vaghela, President and CEO at PubHive. “At the same time, Fetch 2.0 dramatically simplifies the user experience for curators as well as consumers who have more basic needs when it comes to literature-related activities.”
New features on PubHive Navigator’s Fetch module include:
- Re-designed user interfaces and workflows–The number of steps to perform key literature-related activities has been minimized resulting in greater efficiency. Key user interfaces, including the homepage dashboard and workspace views, have also been simplified for a much more intuitive user experience. In addition, workflows, interfaces, and notifications are now personalized based upon user departments.
- New content curator and consumer roles– New system-based role designations provide enhanced user experiences for curators and consumers. Curators gain powerful tools for handling content and sharing information within their organization. Consumers benefit from streamlined access to curated content.
- Expanded data input and output options– An expanded number of data sources and file formats are now available to customers, enabling them to simplify how they import data into their company’s Fetch account. Additional output options are also available via custom report templates, new newsletter functionality, and an expanded support for various file types.
- PRISMA view- For clinical departments with post-market safety responsibilities and market access teams that perform systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses, Fetch now includes built-in PRISMA reports. Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review (PRISMA) reports help to ensure the clarity and transparency of evidence reviews.
- Upgraded infrastructure to support third-party integrations- Fetch now includes enhanced technical capabilities for integrating with clients’ preferred suppliers of journal articles, supplementary materials, and copyright re-use information.
