International library transformation company Soutron announces that Halliburton Energy Services has upgraded to Soutron for their library and knowledge management solution. Halliburton Energy Services (HES) is located in Houston, TX and previously had used InMagic.
"I was struck by how easy Soutron was to use the moment I saw my first product demonstration," says Becky Bolliger of HES Library J157. "I anticipate that our flexible Soutron solution will transform the use of HES knowledge assets, enabling the Library to be agile enough to help meet Halliburton North America strategic goals."
Halliburton North America focuses on both conventional and unconventional reservoirs containing oil and natural gas as well as geothermal wells for electrical power generation. Their strategic goal is to maximize the value of these oil and gas assets through leveraging their reservoir expertise and tailored technology solutions. This goal is achieved by Halliburton delivering a secure source of superior products, quality materials and reliable equipment with an experienced, knowledgeable and safe workforce – all while protecting the environment.
"I expect that the Halliburton library will achieve an excellent return on their library software investment with improved process efficiencies, improved delivery of information and reduced costs," states Soutron Chairman & Managing Director, Graham Beastall. "I am delighted that Halliburton saw the transformative power of the built-in customisation capabilities of the Soutron Library and Knowledge Management solution."
