Coherent Digital Acquires the Taylor & Francis Digital Primary Source Archive

Included in the acquisition are the Taylor & Francis collections titled War, State and Society; Cold War Eastern Europe; Secret Files from World Wars to Cold War; and South Asia Archive. The newly created Coherent Digital projects will be called History Commons and South Asia Commons.

The collections comprise more than 6.5 million pages of twentieth-century European history licensed from The National Archives (UK), the History of Advertising Trust, and other sources.  Contemporaneous reports, statistics, advertisements, books, journals, maps, and other formats, many previously secret, will reveal new perspectives to students and researchers, with Coherent Digital’s platform features—including collaboration and community features, table extraction and list builder tools, and other functionality.
