Yandex on smartphones

Russian search engine Yandex has announced that two smartphone manufacturers will offer its services pre-installed on their devices.

The smartphones will be sold with Yandex browser, cloud storage and search as the default options.

Yandex currently has about 60% of the Russian search market, compared with 27% for Google.
