Brill releases Digital Cuban Culture Collection in partnership with Havana's Casa de las Américas archive
Academic publisher Brill has released an online collection of more than 45,000 documents from the archive of Casa de las Américas in Cuba. The archive contains newspaper clippings, cable messages, interviews and conference memorabilia and covers almost sixty years of cultural relations between Cuba and the rest of the world. www.brill.com/cuba
Knowledge Unlatched makes 343 Humanities and Social Science books Open Access
Collaborative initiative Knowledge Unlatched has announced that all 147 front list and 196 backlist e-books from the KU Select 2016 collection will be available on an open access basis. Altmetric integrates Web of Science citation data
Data science company Altmetric has announced the integration of Clarivate Web of Science citation data with the Explorer for Institutions (EFI) platform. Users will be able to see the Web of Science citation count and up to three citing articles in a new tab in Altmetric details pages accessed via EFI. Atypon expands in the Czech Republic, Greece and Jordan
Publishing technology company Atypon has opened new development hubs in the Czech Republic and Greece and is expanding its presence in Jordan in response to the needs of a growing customer base.
The company's new Prague office will work on developing Literatum, the online publishing platform for scholarly and professional publishing. The new development hub in Thessaloniki, Greece will focus on machine learning technologies in partnership with the Computer Science department of Aristotle University.
