What is LIS? A call for journal articles

The National Graduate School of Information Sciences and Libraries (École nationale supérieure des sciences de l'information et des bibliothèques (ENSSIB)) based in Lyons, France is to develop a new scholarly journal.

The first issue seeks to address a key question - what exactly IS library and information science (LIS)?

Proposals for papers that attempt to define and document the history of LIS should be submitted to raphaele.mouren@enssib.fr by January 15^th 2012.
