USPTO to deliver electronic search results to EPO

The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is delivering electronic search results for publicly available US patent applications to the European Patent Office (EPO).

The e-delivery of search results will help US applicants who wish to file with the EPO to comply with an Information on Prior Art amendment to the EPO Convention.

USPTO will also electronically deliver search results for unpublished US applications if there is appropriate consent.
