UK: Jisc and OCLC partner to transform library collaboration

The contract to help develop a new national bibliographic knowledgebase (NBK) has been awarded to OCLC.

The NBK will support the learning and research needs of the UK higher education community by aggregating academic bibliographic data. The new shared service will improve library collection management and resource discovery.

The NBK forms part of Jisc’s vision for a UK national digital library.
