Twitter buys TweetDeck - it's official

TweetDeck was founded in London in 2008 and has been downloaded more than 20 million times.  It is said to be used by many of Twitter's 'power users'.

Although the price is unconfirmed, Twitter is reported to have paid approximately $40m for the service which helps users organise their twitter feeds.
