Thomson Reuters to sell Intellectual Property & Science Division

Thomson Reuters Intellectual Property & Science (IP&S) division provides intellectual property and scientific information services, including Web of Science.  The Division has been sold for $3.5bn.

The company has stated it will be concentrating on its core financial products, using some of the proceeds to reduce debt and to buy back stock.
