The Guardian launches on iPad

The release of The Guardian's iPad edition coincides with the release of Newsstand on Apple's iOS 5.

The app, available for iPad users running the new iOS 5, will cost £9.99 per month.  Newsstand enables automatic downloading/updating and easy sharing of stories.  The new Guardian iPad version includes interactive advertisements and features plenty of visual material.  You can see a video about the new iPad version on the Guardian's website.
