Shelfie ebook service closed

The Canadian ebook bundler (originally known as BitLit) has closed down.

The service was built to be platform independent and Shelfie offered ebooks and audiobooks.  It has also collaborated with independent bookstores.

As yet no reason has been given for the closure although industry observers say it is becoming increasingly difficult for small suppliers to survive against massive suppliers such as Amazon and Apple.
