Scotland: investing in rural broadband

A new funding programme worth £9million aims to help hard-to-reach rural communities access fast broadband.

Communities will be able to apply for grants to help them fund community broadband projects.  This latest announcement forms part of Digital Scotland’s Superfast Broadband programme which aims to deliver ‘world class connectivity’ across Scotland by 2020.
