Acquisition of Thomson Reuters Intellectual Property and Science Business by Onex and Baring Asia, announced earlier this year, has been finalised.
The new independent company, Clarivate Analytics, owns many brands well-known to information professionals, including Web of Science, Derwent World Patents Index and Thomson CompuMark.
New branding will be rolled out from early 2017.
