Sage Publications closes out 2024 with three acquisitions

Sage grows through key acquisitions ahead of its 60th year

Sage has expanded its support of teaching, learning, and research by acquiring:

  • Cambridge Business Publishers, a U.S.-based provider of college textbooks and technology focused on accounting and finance courses. The move expands Sage’s footprint in accounting and finance courses in higher education. 
  • GOOD DOCS LLC, a company that promotes social justice through powerful documentaries and promotes critical thinking on important societal issues, adding over 370 films to Sage's library of videos.
  • Mary Ann Leibert, Inc.,  a publisher of more than 100 peer-reviewed journals in biotechnology and the life sciences, specialized clinical medicine, public health and policy, and technology and engineering, as well as the leading B2B media brands Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News (GEN) and Inside Precision Medicine.?

Each acquisition was pursued to address the need of faculty, students, and/or librarians.
