De Gruyter has launched Open Information Science (OIS) - an open access, cross-disciplinary, peer-reviewed journal covering research on all areas of Library and Information Sciences and Media Studies. The Editor in Chief is Paul Sturges.
OIS is particularly interested in the dissemination of the intellectual efforts of the global academic community in this field.
