Open Data Institute - plans revealed

The UK government has outlined more detailed plans for the launch of the Open Data Institute (ODI).  The ODI will be based in east London's 'Tech City' and will work with new businesses to exploit open government data.  The ODI also aims to help develop the relevant skills base via hackathons and appathons.
