Netherlands: high cost of illegal downloads

Illegal downloads are costing the Dutch film industry millions of euros a year.

Nathalie Falot, writing in The Future of Copyright, summarises the findings of a study published by an IT law firm in the Netherlands.  Researchers at the University of Amsterdam contributed to the research which found that up to 56% of those aged 16-24 were downloading movies from illegal sources.
