Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research and OA

The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) has announced an agreement with the publishers BioMed Central and SpringerOpen. 

The agreement means that the NWO will cover article processing charges for research articles written by researchers funded by NWO.  The articles may be published via BioMed Central in any BioMed Central, Chemistry Central or SpringerOpen open access journal.

The NWO's Open Access Incentive Fund is designed to encourage its researchers to publish OA books and articles and to broaden the visibility of Dutch research.
