Netherlands: Google in breach of data protection

Google could be facing a fine of up to €15 million after the Dutch Data Protection Authority found that its new Privacy Policy is in breach the Dutch data protection act. The Authority is concerned that Google harvests so much user data without seeking consent.

The Authority has given Google until February 2015 to comply.
