Netflix misses growth targets

Streaming growth slowing down in the US.


Netflix, which aims to become a fully global company by the end of 2016, has announced a 50% fall in its year on year profits.

The company has blamed the transition to new chip-based payment cards in the US, claiming they make member renewal more difficult.

Outside of the US, Netflix has now launched in Japan and is planning to launch in Italy,
