JISC has updated its Toolkit for the Impact of Digitised Scholarly Resources (TIDSR). The Toolkit helps information professionals, publishers and content creators to understand the reach of their digital assets.
A better understanding of the ways in which content is being used, and by whom, ensures that creators can improve the quality of their digital resources. Impact evaluation also provides statistical analysis that can be used to make the case for continued, or new, work programmes.
The Toolkit includes both qualitative and quantitative ways of measuring impact. It has already been used by a number of JISC projects and user feedback is welcomed.
