Open Knowledge and the University of Amsterdam’s Digital Methods Initiative will collaborate on the project, which is supported by the Global Initiative for Financial Transparency (GIFT).
The project aims to map who is active in the area and to identify what they consider to be the key issues, opportunities and challenges. The review will then identify various definitions of open budget data and best practice for publication and engagement.
Open Knowledge is also launching a collaborative bibliography of existing research on open budget data and relevant topics and welcomes suggestions for items to include.
