Instagram: continued growth

For the first time, Instagram has revealed user numbers for the UK - which is thought to be its largest European market.  Worldwide user figures have doubled in the last two years and now exceed 300 million.

Instagram is growing in many other countries too and has proved very successful for businesses and brands. Instagram offers brands a powerful engagement tool while users have felt comfortable interacting with brands that are not 'hard-selling'. Instagram is now working with brands and companies to develop and grow advertising opportunities via Instagram ads.
