Instagram launched live streaming in the USA in November 2016 and has rolled the service out to other countries including Brazil, France, Germany, Japan and the UK. The company has now announced that the service will be available to all of its users before the end of January 2017.
Instagram’s live-streaming option is different to other live streaming services in that the broadcast is not saved. The content is ephemeral, disappearing as soon as the user finishes streaming.
