HEFCE and JISC first announced its shared service programme to deliver efficiences for education and research in February 2011.
The two part programme, which focuses on cloud infrastructure and support services, will be advanced by a number of projects and partners. These include JANET (UK) and Eduserv and a number of academic institutions including De Montfort, Edinburgh and Liverpool John Moores.
