Greater Manchester Police Reveal All via Twitter

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) will be tweeting a description of every incident it deals with in the next 24 hours, to allow the public to see what officers face on a daily basis.

Chief Constable Peter Fahy said the initiative would give an insight into the kind of police work that is "not recognised in league tables and measurements".

GMP are using three different accounts to enable the necessary volume of tweets to be posted: @gmp24_1, @gmp24_2, @gmp24_3.
