Google responds to EU antitrust charges

After months of delay Facebook has as last responded to antitrust charges

The EU has stated that Google was imposing unreasonable conditions on companies.   Google allows phone and mobile network companies to use Android for free – but this necessitates preloading Google apps.  Google’s share of the market in Europe continues to grow, and it already has 90% of Europe’s search traffic.

Google's response has now been submitted to the EU, although it had requested six extensions of the original deadline.

Google has responded to the EU’s latest antitrust actions by saying that it has boosted rather than hindered competition.
