France to adopt price fixing for e-books

The French government reached its unanimous decision this week.  Its position has always been that e-books should be treated in the same way as print books.  The law, when adopted, will also affect e-books imported from outside of France.

According to The Bookseller, the French government is expecting the European Commission to object to its plans.
