France: VAT cut on digital works

VAT on French digital products and services has been reduced from 20% to 2.1%.

The moves means that the rate is now the same for digital works as it is for printed books.

VAT rates for printed works vary around Europe.  The European Publishers Council (EPC) publishes a list of VAT rates on its website.
