According to Forrester Research, Amazon is on the verge of launching into, and disrupting, the tablet market.
Outlining the report (which is available for purchase here) in a blog post Sarah Rotman Epps explains that Amazon will compete on price and could sell as many as 5 million devices in Q4 of this year.
The launch is likely to see a growth in the creation of Android apps by developers who have previously focused only on iPad apps.
