F1000 Research goes live

Faculty of 1000 (F1000) has published the first articles in its OA biology and medicine article evaluation programme.

Article submissions to F1000 go through an initial review by an in-house team, before being published with an 'awaiting peer review' status.

Comments from expert referees will be displayed with the article and authors will be encouraged to revise the articles in response.
