Europeana launches European Film Gateway

The European Film Gateway provides a portal to what had previously been a dispersed collection held across a number of institutions across Europe. 

The collection includes video, photos, magic lantern slides, film posters and text material.  400,000 digital items are already available with the collection set to grow over the next few months.
