CC Search, a tool developed by Creative Commons, enables users to access content in open repositories around the world using a single interface. The latest (beta) version of CC Search is already being used by 600,000 people every month.
Europeana, which is CC Search’s second largest contributor, has made an additional 470,000 new images available.
CC Search encourages discovery, collaboration and re-use, and also has a number of social functions including the ability to create and share lists and tags.Over 10 million searchable objects are currently available.
