Europeana’s third themed digital collection is Europeana Fashion. (The other collections are Europeana Art and Europeana Music.)
Europeana Fashion features over a million photographs, drawings, sketches, videos and more from over 30 European institutions. It features curated themed collections including Haute Couture and Sportswear. The collection is a collaboration between the Europeana Foundation and the Europeana Fashion International Association.
The platform provides a unique space for heritage institutions and fashion houses across Europe to showcase and share their collections online. Contributing institutions include the Victoria and Albert Museum (UK), Les Arts Decoratifs (France) and fashion brand archives including Missoni, the Emilio Pucci Archive and the Museo Salvatore Ferragamo.
