Europeana WWI archive

The success of a University of Oxford initiative that digitised WWI keepsakes and correspondence has encouraged Europeana to roll the scheme out in Germany.

This phase in the project will focus on collecting and digitising German items including letters and postcards.  Members of the public are being encouraged to bring their artefacts to a series of roadshows being held across Germany.
