Europe: portable online content

The European Parliament, Council and Commission have reached an agreement that will allow EU citizens to take their online subscriptions across European borders.

The agreement removes barriers to cross-border portability of content.  E-book subscriptions and services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime are included.

The agreement is the first related to the modernisation on EU copyright rules.
