A consortium of EU researchers, software developers and others has built a cloud platform to help developers create apps and bring them to market quickly.
A library of software has been created for developers to download free from the project’s open source code repository, GitHub. Developers can use the resources to create their own apps. The resource will help developers save time and development money be enabling them to use basic blocks that have been developed by programmers and shared through the COMPOSE project.
Project COMPOSE sets out to drive innovation through the Internet of Things. It is running three pilot projects, including one enabling car sharing among staff and students at the University of Tarragona in Spain that aims to reduce the number of vehicles travelling to the university.
