ERC to join UK PubMed Central

Increased European representation reflected in new name - Europe PubMed Central (Europe PMC).


The European Research Council (ERC) is to join UK PubMed Central (UKPMC).  The service will be renamed Europe PubMed Central from November 2012.  As with the existing 18 funders, the ERC will require that publications resulting from research it has funded will be made freely available via Europe PMC.
