EC to table net neutrality rules

The EU is finalising its digital telecommunications package and is expected to include net neutrality rules which will prevent internet providers blocking access to rival sites.  

In 2012 BEREC (European Internet regulators) claimed that 20-50% of European internet providers use software to block or restrict access to sites run by rival organisations.
