Denmark: plans to speed up internet

Denmark, the world’s most connected country, has announced plans to speed up its mobile and internet connections.

The plan includes significant improvement to mobile signals – in particular to ill-served rural areas – as well as plans to ensure all Danish households will have access to minimum download speeds of 100 Mbps by 2020.

The Danish government will also launch a website that enables people to test and compare their internet speeds.
