At last Twitter users can bookmark tweets to read later without having to publicly ‘like’ it.
Often users want to tag tweets with content and links they want to come back to. The like button implies agreement with the content which may not be true at all. Additionally, when you like a tweet, the original poster is informed, and your response is public. The new bookmark function saves privately.
This save it for later function was initially developed during Twitter’s HackWeek in 2017 and is now being rolled out on Twitter for iOS and Android.
