A partnership between Clarivate Analytics and the Egyptian government’s digital library and online knowledge hub (the Egyptian Knowledge Bank) will see the launch of the first ever Arabic Citation Index (ARCI).
The Arabic Citation Index will be funded by the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and will provide the first ever mapping of Arabic scholarly literature in a citation index. The Index will make Arabic scholarly content more accessible and will help evaluate the quality and research outputs of researchers, universities and research organisations.
ARCI will be the fifth regional citation index developed by Web of Science.
