Apple Pay launched in UK

Apple Pay – the digital wallet service – has been launched in the UK. 

The service allows users to link the service with debit or credit cards and to pay for items in physical locations and online.  Online retailers will include Apple Pay checkout buttons options.  To pay in stores, users will touch their iPhones to payment terminals.  All of the UK’s major credit card companies are participating in the service.
