Airline launches book club for children

With the summer holidays in mind, budget airline EasyJet has launched Flybraries - a flying book club.

EasyJet has joined up with the author Jaqueline Wilson and with the publisher Puffin Classics to launch Flybraries - 'a bookclub in the sky'.

7,000 copies of classic children's books - including The Wind in the Willows, The Railway Children and The Wizard of Oz - will be available on board 147 planes.

The books will be available to read on the plane only - they must be left behind when the children leave - but children can also download free samplers of five classic works from the website.
