One million images from the archives of nine European news agencies have been digitised and made available via www.europhoto.eu.com - 'the world's first historical photo journalism site'.
News agencies from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Spain (as well as epa Worldwide) have participated in the project, creating an archive of historical photographs reflecting politics, sport, culture, entertainment, news and more.
