The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching millions of students in 180+ countries. It aims to show participants that computer science can be fun and creative and accessible for people of all ages. It also aims to encourage broad participation across gender, ethnic and socioeconomic groups.
Millions of participants have decided to go beyond one hour - to learn for a whole day or a whole week or longer, and many students have decided to pursue the topic further.
Hour of Code also provides learning opportunities for people to guide others through the hour.
