Following on from the likes of the 1:AM conference and SpotOn conferences, both hosted at The Wellcome Trust, it is likely that more workshops and seminars on this topic will appear as there is still much to discuss. Library and information groups and individuals have a part to play in this communication as the current models of measurement are closely associated with them, whilst for others so are the associated topics of impact, open access, data management and social media, so it seems to make sense that they pay close attention to what will happen.
