University Maths Department cancels Elsevier subscriptions

The Mathematics Department at the Technical University of Munich (Technische Universitat Munchen) has voted to cancel all  subscriptions to Elsevier journals by 2013.

The subscriptions are currently part of a consortium agreement between the publisher and several university libraries in Bavaria. The University cites price increases and restrictive contracts for the decision to cancel.
