Brill Launches Open Access series Radboud Studies in Humanities

In collaboration with Radboud University Nijmegen, Brill launches its broad Open Access series Radboud Studies in Humanities.

Leiden (NL) / Boston (MA)  ()

In collaboration with Radboud University Nijmegen, Brill, the international scholarly publisher, launches its broad Open Access series Radboud Studies in Humanities. The series is launched during the international Open Access week. A special focus of the series will be interdisciplinary approaches and studies that demonstrate the relevance of the humanities to society at large. All titles in the series will become available simultaneously in print and in Open Access.

With the publication of this series, Radboud University and Brill underline the importance of making scholarly research available via Open Access. Recently, a suite of four major Open Access journals on the subjects of Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, and Biology have been added to Brill's growing Open Access program, Brill Open. Following the Berlin Declaration on Open Access (2003), Radboud University has started several projects to stimulate Open Access among her employees.

Radboud Studies in Humanities is the first fully Open Access book series published with Brill. We are proud to present the first two volumes on Friday 24 October on the campus of Radboud University Nijmegen. Click here for more information on the presentation.
